A restored lobby, speakeasy lounge, fitness center, and dog park round out life inside, with Uptown, Highland Park, and Downtown Dallas all minutes away.
Est. 1927
A 1927 Landmark High-Rise
Built in 1927, The Argyle has stood seven stories tall for nearly a century. Its Gatsby-era architecture set it apart from the start, drawing comparisons to The Warwick, another 1920s Dallas landmark. A 1981 renovation preserved the building as Turtle Creek's condo boom rose around it. A 2016 renovation added new elevators, electrical systems, fire safety measures, and HVAC, while keeping the original aesthetic intact. "The Argyle is to Dallas what the Chelsea Hotel is to Manhattan... home to generations of artists, writers and the perennially hip." (Helen Thompson, Elle Decor)
Interiors
Studio to Two-Bedroom Homes With Character
The Argyle's eight floor plans range from a 425-square-foot studio to a 1,290-square-foot two-bedroom, and select layouts include a den or study. Exposed concrete columns and beams, exposed ductwork, and oversized windows carry the building's 1927 character into each home, paired with hardwood floors and high ceilings. Kitchens feature quartz countertops, soft-close cabinetry, matte-gold fixtures, and Edison accent lighting, with built-in shelving and a tub or walk-in shower depending on floor plan.
Built for Everyday Ease
Beyond the finishes, The Argyle runs on modern convenience. An elevator, keyless entry, and controlled access keep things simple, and black kitchen appliances, including a refrigerator, range, microwave, and dishwasher, handle daily use. A front-loading washer and dryer, broadband internet, an online resident portal, and professional management round out life here.
